Some of my Favourite Things

Words and Art together, I simply love all of the art here; http://www.cherylsorg.com/home/home.html .
First Image ~ From the website "Two copies of Anne Sexton’s Transformations, cut apart line by line and assembled in readable order with tape into a 300-foot longribbon and wound into a ball approximately five inches in diameter. The ribbon was originally created for an exhibition entitled ‘Spirits in the Trees’ at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston (where Anne Sexton is buried) and presented wound about the trunk and branches of a tree".

Second Image ~ The paper butterflies are cut and hand-sewn! Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude is used for this image.

Third Image ~ The origami cranes are actually created from pages of the book 1000 Cranes in it's original Japanese.
The whole website is a beautiful dream...
