As I really don't like tropical fruits outside of the tropics (too bitter, too woody, too not right) I was thrilled to try grilling them. Grilled pineapple, on a veggie burger is simply amazing. Today I paired it with a creamy/tumeric sauce and just about died. Definately a summer staple.
